Many people have been asking me for a tutorial, especially for the eyes... Well I am brave enough to make one for anime, not realism though, cause I'm still learning haha~

Well, hope you guys like this tutorial, if there is any mistake please tell me - so I can correct them!

Thank you very much!
Download for big, clearer, awesome view of the tutorial!

other useful note:
You can do vice versa on the eyeball and lashes highlights too, eyeball reflecting white light from the lashes, I always use that technique and I love the effect!

(though it's not that obvious but still small details are very important to me~ haha)

-sigh- When ever I try the multiplying tool it doesn't turn out as crisp as your eye on the example I tried to change the brush type so it have 100% hardness but it's still very fuzzy for some reason, I'm using Photoshop atm I dn't know what to do, The tutorial is so pretty though I'd love to be able to do these properly ;n;

I would love to know more - like the difficulties you're facing.
Usually I use sharp tool after all the details I've put in to really intensify the texture and color.
But maybe in your case you probably need to make sure the brush has its opacity and flow on high setting.
The pen pressure, if you're using a tablet, counts too.
You can also adjust how hard the edge of the brush could be, press F5 in Photoshop or go to Window>Brush.

FIXED IT! thank you I just turned the flow up to 100 and it's fixed >u< Thank you so much~~~
I might be able to get a tablet myself (eventually) but for now I have to use brushed that can curve without pen pressure great tutorial maybe next time I'll be able to try it without the fuzzyness next time X3
I've only just started using photoshop (like a few days ago :S) so sorry not many other people will encounter this problem I'm just a noob XD Thanks again~~~~
